FOR SALE: iRoast1 and Silvia with PID

Postby steves » Sun Dec 11, 2011 5:02 pm

Hi All

I've realised I've got an iRoast1 that's lying around and could hopefully be useful to somebody. I would rather have it collected but might consider posting. £50 can't be a bad price to get into roasting if you haven't tried it.It has had the resistor mod and does a decent enough job but needs a bit of time getting used to it initially (like any roaster I suppose). If you collect you can also have the spare base (which is the heater and fan etc) - the top is the jug (roasting chamber) and chaff collector.

I also have a Rancilio Silvia with PID. £275 (collection only near J17 of the M4), or £300 for both.

I'll certainly consider sensible offers.

Re the roaster - I may be interested in this, my iroast2 has now intermittantly decided to run fine for about 9 of the 11-12 minutes that I have it programmed for then it seems to go into furnace-mode and the beans quickly end up burnt.
Is yours still available ? Wouldn't be able to pick up unfortunately as I'm in Edinburgh.

Silvia now sold, thanks.

Superlight, if you're still interested in the iRoast, please send an email to the address above.
