Vibration pump repairing

Postby simonp » Tue Nov 23, 2004 10:56 am

I have a suspician that my vibration pump may be getting a bit tired. This morning I stopped getting any flow about 18 seconds into a shot. It seemed OK afterwards, but it did get very loud as it was producung no flow.
I believe that these pumps can be repaired i.e. fit new selas etc, and was wondering if anyone here has done such a thing, or new hwere to get parts. I'm guessing that any 'O' rings are a standard size, but without knowing the sizes it is difficult to sort.

Whats the chance it could just be air in the system?

Possible, but I don't see how it would get in, unless I have a leak somewhere. Worth a check around though.
