sraight coffee

Postby geedee » Sat Jul 16, 2011 10:44 am

It's Pilton festival today and our coffee supplier (Havana Coffee, god bless him) turned up with a L'anna to make ‘proper’ coffee with the takings going to Children’s Hospice. The first four customers asked for a 'regular coffee' and I couldn't resist priming everybody after that to ask for 'Nescafe' or 'Gold Blend' ... one guy even managed a convincing sniff when he told Nigel he was disappointed as he had been told Havana were a specialist supplier.

God help me when Nigel finds out it was my doing 8) 8)

Next time, go back 50 years and ask for milk and a dash. That was Lyons Corner House speciality.
