Unscrewing my Vivi's vacuum breaker!

Hi all,
i was wondering if any one had any tips for unscrewing a vacuum breaker. I am really struggling to undo it without shifting the whole boiler out of place. BB said due to the sealant glue they use it can be hard but i was wondering if anyone else may have a suggestion that could help me. Perhaps how i might anchor the boiler in a position in order to better test out my muscles!

Hmm.........is there enough room to put a spanner on and whack it with a hammer. A sharp jolt shifts things much easier than shoving it harder.

I did away with the vacuum breaker on my machine. It's permanently turned on s don't really need one.

I agree that hitting the spanner with a hammer is likely to be most successful and do the least damage. If possible, have another person hold onto the boiler as well as that is possible. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
