Ok, Ok I'm back too. Good thread, sorry to hear some of the news. Been a really tough few months, the new coffee business has been through the mill, had to relocate the roastery and the costs just spiralled. So been back at the dayjob doing doubles, ho hum. Turned a corner the other week and am officially back in love with all things coffee.

Great news, the last sentence! Congrats and good luck on future efforts. Keep us informed about your experiences if you have the time. We will certainly appreciate it. You folks that grab the bull by the horns and work to roast, prepare and serve really good coffee amaze and really impress me.

I decided I needed a bit of a change so I roasted some Monsooned Malabar. That was a change!

At the risk of appearing serious for a moment I think that the whole espresso thing was actually a really nice 'obsession' that actually was quite expensive, and when the economy tanked, other things became a greater priority, and I for one have got rid of my admittedly modest kit. I still dream of the Elektra I am going to have one day, but feeding children (as well as their tennis lessons, rugby training, singing lessons etc) takes it's toll

But still lurking occasionally.
