Anyone been following this? Anyone going to buy one? Looks like the sort of thing I'd like to own even if I didn't use it much, I've got a shop mill in the kitchen and it's not terribly portable, but looks like a great piece of engineering by a man with a beard in a shed.

Think it's something like $270 USD, plus pretty heavy to ship. Wouldn't buy one unless I was feeling very flush. Would make a nice milestone birthday present, but thankfully that'll be 3 months short of a decade away.

Well, it arrived yesterday! I'll try and get quick phone camera piccies a bit later on.

I can report that the cup is head and shoulders above what I was getting out of the Porlex in the Chemex. Overextraction banished, and the flavours sing through.
