I am disappointed to see that MOLYKOTE 111 comes in a 100gm tube enough to do you a lifetime and has an expiry date of about 1 to 2 years.
Now I will not hold anyone to ransom for there opinions.
Are you of the OPINION that this product is fine after the said expiry date?
I am not seeing what is going to go off in MOLYKOTE 111 SILICONE COMPOUND!

Ray, it's also available in 1kg and 5kg tins.
If you keep it cool and dry it will last for years.

Three Francesconi (CMA) espresso machines - Rossi, San Marco, LaCimbali, Faema and 2 Mazzer Major grinders- CoffeeTech Maggionlino, Hottop, Alpenröst and HW Precision roasters. I decided I needed a bit of a change so I roasted some Monsooned Malabar. That was a change!

It has an expiry date!!!???!!
Just checked my tube and I can see a number stamped into the rolled seam at the bottom but it doesn't in anyway resemble a date. However, that may explain why it's started to taste a bit funny recently... Luckily it still appears to lubricate well enough.

Yeah, if it's expired I'd probably not eat it. If you do, you should cook it thoroughly.
