The list of entrants has been posted on TMC member Ian Boughton's excellent 'Coffee House' website.

TMC members taking part are, John Gordon of Square Mile Coffee who competes in the London Heat, Dale Harris of Has Bean Coffee takes part in the Northern Heat, Alice Cook from TMC'er Billy Tahoe's Taste of Bitter Love is also in the London Heat, whilst former Northeast Regional Champion Stuart Lee Archer of Pumphrey's goes head to head with multiple Scottish Champion Jonathan Sharpe of Kilimanjaro in the Scottish Heat (Edinburgh), and Richard Dixon-Teasdale of Coffee Aroma lines up in the Southwest Heat. My apologies if I've missed anyone. Good luck to all :)

South East Heat Result:

1. Will Corby, Mercanta (Also best signature drink, best espresso & best cappuccino)

2. John Gordon, Square Mile Coffee Roasters

3. Callum Thompson, Espresso Incognito

Congratulations to all. A strong performance by Will taking all three 'best' drinks as well as first place. Well done also to reigning UK Champion and TMCer John Gordon on a good placing.

The line-up for the finals will be determined by points scored, so the runners-up of each heat and those just outside the placings, all retain a chance of qualification.

Edit: Read on the UKBC that Callum is only fifteen. Quite an achievement. Well done that man.

Three Francesconi (CMA) espresso machines - Rossi, San Marco, LaCimbali, Faema and 2 Mazzer Major grinders- CoffeeTech Maggionlino, Hottop, Alpenröst and HW Precision roasters.
I decided I needed a bit of a change so I roasted some Monsooned Malabar. That was a change!
