No Chocolate!!!!

Postby pault » Fri Nov 12, 2004 11:49 am

Hi,

is it just me?...

I was at Euston Station on Wed and on my travels is the only time I force myself to try chainstore coffee. Irrespective of the quality I am now 0-3 in Baseball terminology in terms of stating in a voice perfectly balanced between menace and politeness "no chocolate on the top, thank you". Either I am actually only saying this in my head and it never reaches my voice box or the shop staff are at fault - because I keep getting damn chocolate sprinkled over the top

also, I had 3 day old roasted beans and the top wasn't securely fastened yesterday when I was out. Today's cappo has a very pale off-colour crema - I know I'm preaching to the choir but it just re-emphasises the difference fresh beans can make!!

all the best,

Paul.

See the popsitive side: at least, the chainstore coffee will taste of cheap chocolate instead of bad coffee.
