Goatmilk for Cappuccino - spicy!

Postby Joey » Thu Oct 28, 2004 1:06 am

A friend of mine brougth me fresh milked goat milk from her fathers farm.
I frothed it and used it in a Cappuccino.
Then I made another one with cow milk and gave both to my husband.
He didn't know about it, just thought I gave him 2 different coffees.
Asked for the difference he found the Goatmilk one a bit more spicy but good and asked if he can finish it :D
Sure I said, and watched him drink it before I told him
One of my employees also liked the goat milk one better, he, he...
But I have to admit it smells a bit "goaty". If you don't smell, just drink - it's fine.
So conclusion: it tastes good, but if I want to have my espresso more spicy I'd rather take another blend.
Although if I would serve it to customers whithout comparing it to the other one, I doubt they would taste a difference....

Anyway, this was an interesting experience.
And goatmilk is better then I thought!
