La Spaziale "Spazio"

Postby daveh » Tue Oct 26, 2004 6:34 pm

Hi

I went to visit the La Spaziale importers in Chesterfield yesterday, and had a few excellent cappuccino and espresso with one of the directors. Chris - nice guy, and obviously very knowledgeable about all aspects of growing, roasting, grinding etc etc - you get the picture

Anyway, he pointed me to a website - apologies if you already know about it -

http://www.coffeeresearch.org

where there are loads of very interesting and informative articles

I 've moved into my tearooms (not coffee rooms-yet)near Chatsworth 3 weeks ago, and hope to buy a Spazio before Christmas... I just need to put in some new shelves, new plumbing and electricity, oh, and find some money, before then... watch this space

Cheers

Good luck with the new venture!

a growing number of us have got/thinking of getting Spazios ...

cleaned my groupheads for the 1st time today and they're very easy to take apart soak in washing up liquid (I've decided to avoid the harsh chemical cleaners) - give them a good rinse and there you go ... after reassembling and flushing - I couldn't see one tiny, tiny old coffee particle - highly impressed!!

both the Ozzie and US tamper makers are sending their tampers to me today and tomorrow - am getting a bad case of tamper-frustration :harrumph:

All the best,

Paul.
