crotchless portafilters??

crotchless portafilters??

anybody had experience of using these portafilters - supposed to be better?

what's the advantage??

The pour is very pretty !

If the raving on alt.coffee is anything to go by, it is indicative of how well the puck was formed by tamping etc helping you to improve your technique. Additionally, the crema is disrupted less by contact with the portafilter surfaces on the way out leading to better mouth feel.

No experience personally.

I have 2 spare Spazio portafilters - anybody know anywhere in Europe I could get these adapted??

You must know someone who knows someone who has a drill press or does handicraft type stuff?. Makes model steam engines? Mucks about with old motorbikes? Look in the yellow pages for steel fabricators?
