Machine Cleaner

Sorry if this is a little dull.

I've been using good ole Puly Caff for ages now. And is good. But the other day someone showed me this weird spray. A couple of squirts on the inside of a group handle and a minute later all the blackened coffee "stuff" just wiped away.

Then they used a couple of squirts into a blind filter and backflushed a machine. It worked frighteningly well. All I know is that its made by a company called Faren or something. Can't find anyone selling it - wondered if anyone knew what it was or had seen similar?

Jim

This sounds fascinating. In particular anything that doesn't rot the head gaskets would get my vote.

Do let us know if you find anything out please.

BTW did you get that email I sent you a few weeks ago?

ah, I've had no e-mail for about a month, and had been on holiday. But as of yesterday I was work e-mailable so if you could send again i will reply tomorrow when I'm next at work.

I've found a bit about this spray online. I just want to find someone who is selling it. And whether I need some sort of suit to protect myself while using it!

Ciao e tutti,
Having cleaned-up a couple of machines now I suspect it's probably a solution of caustic soda & detergent. I find a quick squirt with car alloy-wheel cleaner works a treat! (with a good rinse of course!)
Main ingredient: a solution of caustic soda! :?
