I did my first descale this weekend on my Silvia and I also took off the shower screen from the grouphead. The problem is that I am not sure how it goes back now
I have put the brass bit against the grouphead flat side down, next the spacer which fits snuggly into a recess in the brass part with the flat side facing down and finally the screen with the srew holding it all together.
I thought this was how it came apart but when you look up with water coming through (no portafilter) some of the water seems to be coming around the side of the shower screen as well as through it.
Is this normal?
