Never thought they were so robust. Thanks, great pictures of a sturdy machine in top condition...

Cheers Michel,

Yes, i was surprised how well built they are too.
However i should have expected it really with it being a commercial machine.

Great job Eric - I remember how it looked at the beginning... it's a pitty you have to give it up. Is there no other space in the house? Mine is in the greenhouse, I wouldn't have the space in the kittchen neither. I haven't plumbed it to the waterpipes, I use fresh water from a waterbottle daily and a small container to select the drainage water. Sure you don't find space? >sigh<

Hi Joey,

Thanks for your comments, it is good to hear from you.

I wish i could find the space. :(

It is a great machine, steams like a train. :) and it appears to be very stable temperature wise, once it has warmed up, which only takes about half an hour.
I personally would love to keep it but in persuit of family harmony, my wife prefers the Euro2000 Junior we have.

I did enjoy doing the complete rebuild and learned a lot, at least i think i did, about the machines. :)

All the Best
Eric.

PS Thanks for all of your help support and the best of luck with the new shop. :D

oh you are so welcome... thanks for the best wishes...
I hope the faema gets into good hands, someone who loves her, treats her well,...

Sorry, I am always like that when it comes to selling machines. I cried a lot when I sold my first motorbike - felt like a traitor because I bought a new and shiny one. When the interested parties where lined up, I picked the nicest one, hoping he is the opposite of a rowdy who will wrap her around the next tree.

Might sound odd, but as I repaired almost everything over the years on that thing (except the gear unit I replaced everything) it was a Frankenstein situation - it was MY creature, rebuilt part by part....

>sigh<

I think I am personalizing things way too much - I even caught myself talking to my machines...though I seldom talk to my plants.....yeah, maybe sometimes,... I am getting weird now, excuse me, I haven't slept much, maybe I am still dreaming >pinching myself< nope, I'm not. Okey, time to stop that bosh..... >yaaaaawn< I need a yawning emoticon, Phil please?

joey :o
