Organic Milk

Postby simonp » Thu Aug 05, 2004 1:18 pm

Has anyone tried Rachaels Organic Milk? I spotted it in Sainsburys today, and as it was only a few pence more I thoght I'd give it a go. Claims to be supporting that national trust.
Both Sainsburys and Safeway(pretty much Morrisons now) semi-skimmed has been really hard work to foam recently so I though I'd try organic.

I don't think the organic nature of the milk will affect its "foamability". As someone pointed out recently it's all down to the protein content.

Having said that I tried the Rachael's semi-skimmed for Allyson's cappas at one point recently and it seemed to foam well, but as I told Kingseven last week I'm cr*p at foaming.

I just wondered if organic = better feed = better milk.

I have highs and lows in foaming, but this has been too consistently poor to be just me - I hope
