Reccomendations for plumbing in an Iberital L'Adri ?

Postby JonS » Tue Jul 24, 2007 10:27 am

I'm soon to be the proud owner of a secondhand Iberital L'Adri 1 group semi-auto plumb-in machine, as an upgrade to my PID'd Zaffiro, and I'm looking for recommendations for the following:

1. Do I need to install a separate pressure regulator to the mains water supply to the machine ? I'm assuming yes, otherwise the rotary pump pressure is going to fluctuate. And possibly yes, because it might be relevant if the Iberital uses line-pressure to preinfuse. Can anyone recommend a regulator ?

2. What do folks recommend for filtration / calcium treatment for plumb-in machines (at home) ? The water is pretty hard in Chesterfield where I live; when I checked earlier this year, it was around 228 ppm.

Just want to make sure I do the right thing for my new arrival :D

Thanks,

Jon
