i know they are well disliked - but have they improved ?

Just wondering if the latest bean to cup machines are an improvement on the originals - i have a gaggia synchrony digital, and the main issue seemed to be the water notting getting hot enough and the pressure not being the best...are they any new machines on the market that improve this issue?
