Ah, I've heard of this bizarre ritual... at the beginning of the cold season they put lard all over their bodies and then sew themselves into their underwear... Supposed to keep you warm during the cold nights.... ;)

I wonder what it smells like when they removed their underwear after the winter.....

No smell as such....but you don't half slip around a bit.

7 Days and counting to the gathering.

Shop is about 75% complete but will be ready for arrival of the posse. flooring to be laid and more decoration to be done but these things tend to all come together in the last few days..... or so the contractors KEEP telling me ...lol... where Carol Smiley or Anika Rice when you need them?

Looking forward to seeing everyone and i will post my last lot of pics on the refit- the next ones will be the finished article with smiley happy espresso stuffed faces of the TMC guys!

Looking very nice Baz. I love the woodwork, it makes such a change from going into coffee chains with their standardised interior fittings.

update.
A few more of the gang have emailed me and will be attending so should be good.

the address is
8 Aberdeen walk
Scarborough
North Yorkshire
YO11 1XP

its in the middle of the town centre opposite the main post office. anyone who gets lost can give me a call... mobile 07971808549.

as well as TMC a small group of people have been invited who have a bit of passion for coffee which we can fan the flames.

people are welcome from 2pm onwards really or before if you wish to help set up.

as i have allready mentioned footy starts at 3pm so i see a definete split in the group untill 5pm when its all over .

we will have lots of coffee on offer a dozen or so plus my now famous "Roasters"blend and Steve has kindly agreed to demonstrate cupping.
A buffet and lots of nice cakes and ice cream AND mmmm handmade chocs
lots of beer and wine.
it will end when it ends but as some will have a good drive ahead of them i am sure some will have to leave earlier.

looking forward to seeing everyone

oh yeh .... bring your coffee toys if you wish AND all who attend will have a little "surprise" gift to remember the occasion.

Barry :P

I recon the dresscode is formal, eg. 3 piece suits, cocktail dresses, high hats and canes ? ;)
