Please help!! I recently bought a Gaggia Deluxe four or five months ago and I love it. Somewhat worried about boiler rusting out in three years but, oh well. I'm a student and that's all the money I had. Didn't have enough for a Rancilio Silvia. I use a KitchenAid Proline grinder and it works fine.

Am going on vacation in Italy in March. Will be visiting Cinque Terre, Florence (staying downtown) and Rome (staying near Campo De Fiori). Hoping to find an Espresso Store/Shop where I could buy an affordable, decent tamper to replace the plastic one that came with my machine. Don't have enough to spring for a Reg Barber. Any information, addresses, phone numbers, email greatly appreciated.

why get one in italy when to be honest you can probably get as good a deal over the internet wherever you may be, than retail in italy.

I got a decent one from Australia on ebay for about £15 delivered - it was cheaper than buying in the UK! There are a couple of online sellers there that have them and a quick search will find them or PM if you get stuck.
