Bodum Antiqua

Postby perplexed » Sun Nov 20, 2005 5:15 pm

I have a Bodum Antiqua which I have not used for some time. For a reason I cannot fathom the top burr is missing. Does anyone know where i can get a spare and is it easy to fit.

Hi Guest
One of several reviews in CoffeeGeek mentioned 3 items of spares, supplied by Bodum, but the burrs wasn't one of them. I guess you've contacted an agent for Bodum and they may have confirmed this.
I suggest you phone Happy Donkey http://tinyurl.com/8bol5 as maybe, identical burrs are available, under a different badge.
You might get a good 2nd hand Antigua on eBay, or you may discover them to be the Bodum donkey graveyard for dead grinders.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

The Donkey is a good place to start enquiries. From a quick check on Ken Wilson's pages it looks as though the burrs are very similar to the Solis/*$ Barista.
This week I are feeling sleepy!
