Mazzer mini - where to buy?

Postby Guest » Thu Apr 21, 2005 1:49 pm

Can anyone suggest where I can get a reasonably priced Mazzer mini?

I've seen some references to buying it in Holland although if I can find somewhere in London that would be equally as good.

Try the dutch auction site marktplaats.nl... search for "mazzer"

The usual references to buying it in NL refer to www.esw.nl

Can be had in the UK, but I've never seen it for less than GBP 340 (not looked recently though)

Thanks for that.

Anothercoffee.co.uk are selling the Mazzer mini E for £435 plus 1kg of beans and ESW sell it for €539 (about £385). A saving of £50.

As for the basic Mazzer mini £345 from anothercoffee and €389 (about £277) from ESW. A saving of £67. (assuming £1 = €1.40)

Yup it was anothercoffee I was referring to. I'm told they just can't buy them as cheaply over here and hence can't compete on price if you're prepared to buy elsewhere in the EU. I don't believe that they're just over-charging or anything.

Thats bad news for them.

I thus have a dilemma as the cost of a UK warranty will effectively be £50, being the price difference.

Although form all accounts, no one is having prblems with Mazzers.

No one has any problems with Mazzers AFAIK. Solid engineering.

If you wanted a UK warranty then getting it from anothercoffee is the best warranty you could have as their service and support is absolutely top-notch. If not, buy it from Henk at ESW or - I forget the place in Germany that was even cheaper. I know ESW's support is also excellent, but I don't know about the German company. Raf, help me out here?

BTW what do we call you please?

I've seen the MACAP M4 on ebay this week (Item number: 4373982774) - buy it now for £300. Being sold by La Macchinetta Ltd, (UK distributors)
Not a Mazzer, but by all accounts it's comparable had some favourable reviews, so you might want to consider it as well.

only wish I could afford one :(

After sale service by Henk is indeed exemplary, I don't know about Eiss-fassbender.de (I believe they changed their name, but a Google search for eiss-fassbender should still get you to them). If you're getting a Mazzer, I would strongly advise you to buy a Mini E: I'm still very happy with it a year after my purchase.
This week I am eagerly anticipating the first god shots from my La Spaziale machine....

If its any help I used Caffesociety (www.caffesociety.co.uk). The price was the same as "another coffee" and they delivered next day using TNT. My only gripe was that thought I ordered a Model A (push buttons on top of the doser/funnel) and got a Model B (PF push button). Not a problem in the end as it is easier to clean, I can run it with the doser cover off which makes clearing the chute easier without wires etc. getting in the way. Where ever you order make sure you spec Model A or B!

From that link, the doserless MC4 is on special at £218 with free delivery - looks like a good deal.
