Wandering through the Emmaus (2nd hand shop) looking for nothing really I stumbled on a Santos 8cup... no it didn't break, I have so much experience stumbling that I hardly break anything anymore....
But well, for 5 euro I couldn't resist.....  |

Yep, that's quite a snip, when you consider the cost of vac-pots new. Does it use a glass plug/rod similar to the Cona?

| edit: I said it had a glass rod but meant it's got a glass tube. There's a plastic disc with chain as filter (so not the glass rod as in a cona). I didn't realize you meant that, until I read another recent thread about vac-pots. |

I love my Santos, especially when I have visitors. Makes great coffee and great to look at! |
