No, no! Not with Happy Donkey, but in general. Scott has generally been unusually helpful in the past.

Ziemas, just give Scott a nudge on Monday. He will sort it out for you, he just gets a bit busy sometimes and probably forgot. No excuse of course, but he works alone most of the time and probably just had one of the Fridays that we all have from time to time.

Hmm. I didn't think Happy Donkey sold to anyone outside of the UK? I tried ordering from them, but they said they don't ship to Norway. I wonder why not, though.

Welcome to TMC CrimsonScythe. I know they didn't used to because the shipping costs were expensive amongst other things. Perhaps things have changed.

Thank you CakeBoy Smile

Yeah, maybe it's changed. I asked them in September, but I guess I should ask them again. The other two stores I've looked at are coffeecreations.co.uk and bellabarista.co.uk, but neither are very prompt when it comes to replying to emails. Sad

Try calling them using Skype, it's cheap and effective. The folks at Bella Barista were very helpful on the phone.

I sent an email Friday to ensure he had the correct address as we spoke on the phone, but still no response as of Monday evening. What utterly disappointing customer service.

Hmm - that doesn't sound like Scott at all - he's usually really fast to deal with any requests! And I've ordered over the phone with him before, no problems...

Having met him and been in e-mail touch with him a bit over the last few weeks I'd say Scott is a great guy but I dont know if hes just too busy or not, hes not that fast at replying.

I finally got a response from him saying that he doesn't understand what I mean about the locking tabs being too thick and to send the PF back so he can sort it out. As sending it back is quite expensive, I sent a photo of the tabs being measured with digital calipers so he can see exactly what's happening and offer me a concert solution before I spend another 10 pounds sending it to him.

Did he send you the wrong one then Ziemas? That is highly unusual for Scott (except for the very rare confusion over gaskets when some makes of machine vary between two sizes).

How did you determine the correct size, did you just ask for the correct p/f for your machine by name or did Scott ask you for measurements?

This also happened to me after ordering a naked specifically for a Andreja from Happy Donkey. I'm very surprised that he's surprised it's an issue. I would also ask him if he'll refund you the return post too. He wouldn't refund me.

I spoke to him on the phone and told him my machine (Izzo Vivi) and the type of group head. (E61). All he'll respond with is 'send it back and I'll sort it'. He's yet to mention exactly how he'll 'sort it' or if he'll pay for shipping.

I just wrote him asking what exactly 'sorting it' entails. and if he'll pay shipping. I'll post his response here.

Well, I guess it's apparent why these companies don't want to be involved in international sales.

International sales has nothing to do with the fact that he's selling PF that don't fit properly. Here in this very thread is a chaffed poster from the UK who had the exact same problem.
