Does anyone know of any European webshops that sell naked PFs for E-61 machines? I'm having trouble finding one.
Thanks!

Thanks for the replies so far.
Does anyone know of anyplace on the continent? Usually that means much cheaper shipping to Latvia. |

You could try here?

Good luck!
I wrote to all the places given, but so far only espressoparts.co.uk has written back. They gave me the wrong part number and price in the email. The £21.21 quoted seemed like a reasonable price, even with £9.95 shipping.
When I got the correct part number from their online chat help it was listed on the site as £25.99, but in the cart as £33.31! Also it seems that their prices don't include VAT. So, in the end they want £50 for a naked PF to Riga, which seems like an awful lot of money to me. Hopefully the other shops write back. |

| I bought mine from Bella Barista and am very happy with it. They are currently listed at £27.99 plus postage. |

Of all the places I wrote to (Happy Donkey, ESW, Stoll, Pasmarose, espressoparts, bella barista) only ESW and espressoparts responded.
espressoparts wanted 50 pounds, and ESW wanted a mind blowing 95 euro for a naked PF shipped to Latvia. 30 euro of that was shipping, which is shear madness.
In the end I got on the telephone and started calling. Happy Donkey was able to ship one to me for 41 GBP.
So in short, if you are in Eastern Europe and looking for some parts Happy Donkey will be more than happy to ship to you, but it's best to call (I use skype) as their email response is admittedly spotty, but they were quite helpful on the phone.
Pasmarose also ships eastward, but shipping isn't added automatically to the cart, and it seems that you need to pay twice, once for the product and again after you've received an email about the shipping charges. FWIW, Pasmarose does have dead cheap shipping, it's just a shame that it isn't added automatically. |

They responded to my second email (I never got a response to the first) regarding how to buy something with the below.
Quote:
for one portafilter is 4,50€. If the shop dont do this automatically you get an info from me via email after your payment.
Either way I might give them a try sometime in the future. |

I received my PF from Happy Donkey, and it doesn't fit my machine as the locking tabs on the side are too thick. I find this quite disappointing as I ordered the PF on the telephone from Scott at HD, and he didn't mention there being two different thicknesses of tabs on PF, even though I mentioned the machine I use. He seems well aware of the issue; I as a relatively new espresso nerd did not.
I called up Scott at HD who said he'd check to see if he had the correct PF in stock and get back to my by Friday. Friday came and went with no word from Scott. How utterly disappointing. So now I have a PF that doesn't fit my machine, and a vendor who doesn't seem interested in helping me sort it out. Urgh. |

| I'm afraid this kind of thing is far more the rule than the exception. Good luck on getting it sorted. |

With Happy Donkey in particular or in general in the espresso world?
Thanks for the good wishes, though. |
